This vintage raw silk day dress was designed by Oleg Cassini in the early 1980's. It is in an oversized shirtwaist style, with dark gray and white stripes, a drawstring at the waist and is lined from the waist down. The dress is knee length, has front patch pockets and closes with front buttons.
It is labeled a US size 8, though the dress can accommodate larger sizes because of the way it is styled! Please review the measurements for the best fit.
A few facts about Oleg Cassini; did you know that he was once married to Gene Tierney and dated Grace Kelly? He started out his career as a designer at Paramount Pictures but perhaps is best known for developing the iconic "look" of first lady Jacqueline Kennedy.
"She wanted the best of everything--from the furniture, to the food, to the notable artists from other countries that she entertained. It was an international paradise." -Oleg Cassini on Jackie Kennedy
